About us

Akemi Nagao
is a Berlin based Japanese dancer, performer and choreographer.
She is interested in working with senses and intuition. Her practice is about extending awareness thought the senses.
She has been influenced by Julyen Hamilton, Renate Graziadei, Ingo Reulecke, Maya M. Carroll and Zen meditation.
Akemi has worked with Junichi Akagawa, Choy Ka Fai, COSTA COMPAGNIE, William “Bilwa” Costa, Léo Dupleix, Mami Kawabata, Adam Pultz Melby, Bettina Neuhaus, Min Oh, Aurélie Pertusot, Micha Purucker, Elma Riza, Ingo Reulecke, Michael Tuttle, Louise Wagner and many different kind of artists.
She has toured in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Swiss, Denmark, USA, Korea and Japan.

Aurélie Pertusot
Born in 1983 in France, Aurélie Pertusot was awarded a diploma from L’Ecole Nationale Supérieur in Nancy (France) and by Sint Lukas Art School in Brussels (Belgium) with congratulations of the jury in 2007 (Master’s Degree in Art). Since 2008, she has been developing a work around drawing and around disappea- rance, and with Anne Moirier, she offers perfomances of sound, and participates regularly in festivals (France, Luxembourg, Germany). in 2010, by invitation of the curator of the museum of Fine arts of Nancy, she is creating an interactive ins- tallation with respect to the exhibition Beauté Monstres. She also participates in the exhibition «Regards», in the center of art Bastille in Grenoble (France) and to the nocturne étudiantes, to the Lorrain museum of Nancy (France). She receives a grant of residence in Berlin by the Conseil General de Moselle (France) and is interested in the art in the public place.

Elma Riza

French visual artist – improviser and performer.Works and lives in Berlin since 2007. Graduated from the Kunsthochschule Berlin – KHB in 2012. Between 2007 and 2011 she worked mostly with video and photography. Then she started to study improvisation – instant composition with different choreographers and performers. (Fanny de Chaillé, Eva Burghardt, Jean Jacques Sanchez, Akemi Nagao, Biwa Costa, Rosalind Crisp, Bettina Neuhaus…) In march 2014, she created Imprévu Berlin – Interdisciplinary Platform for Instant Composition. Besides, she developed a series of solo installations/performance, research which make the connection between her work in Instant composition and in Visual Arts. And open her research to collaboration with other artist, dancer, performer and sound designer.
